Happy New Year!

This is going to be your best year yet if it is your best year with God- Michael Todd.

For this to be your best year yet, you have to be born again and you have to understand what being born again means.

The concept of being born again is simply dedicating your life to Christ.

Romans 10:9

"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Being born again seems like an easy process but it is more than just a proclamation.

In 2 Corinthians 5:17, Paul says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new”.

When you give your life to Christ, you are no longer the same person. You are now brought into the kingdom and are adopted by God to be a part of His family as stated in Ephesians 1:4-5 (”For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accord..”).

Not only are you member of the Almighty God’s family, but you have also inherited the righteousness of Jesus Christ through faith, so you are justified before the Lord ( Philippians 3:9).

Additionally, as a born again citizen, you have intimate moments with the Holy Spirit, where He cleanses you and prunes you. ( Psalm 51)

Being born again is the best decision anybody can make.

Philippians 3:8 ( The voice translation). “And more so, I now realize that all I gained and thought was important was nothing but yesterday’s garbage compared to knowing the Anointed Jesus my Lord. For Him I have thrown everything aside—it’s nothing but a pile of waste—so that I may gain Him."

Being born again places you where you need to be, close to God and the only way to God is through Jesus Christ ( John 14:6). So if you would love to be born again, kindly click me!

As the year ends, first and foremost, we must thank the Lord. It is only by His grace that we all made it this far. Thank you Jesus.

This is also the time for us to start thinking of what we are going to leave in this year and what we are going to start doing in the next year.

For me, the one thing I want to leave in 2021 is being comfortable with not progressing in terms of my relationship with the Lord. I feel like sometimes I’m okay with where I am with Him, so that prevents me from desiring more, it’s almost as though I’m satisfied, at times. Lol but that isn’t possible. So, I pray that in 2022 I would always desire to move to the next level when it comes to my relationship with the Lord.

Another “thing” I desire in 2022 is to become more “ spiritually aware and intelligent”. I want to be aware of the spiritual activities that occur around me and that requires a certain level of grace. I know that all physical manifestations are only as a result of spiritual activities. Furthermore, if I am able to manipulate spiritual activities, with the power of the Holy Spirit, activities in the physical realm can also be altered.

Lastly, in 2022, I want to be able to dream. I feel like a lot of the time, we are limited to what we can dream of but I want that to be different next year God willing. I want to be able to dream big dreams and I want the Lord to grant me the grace to fulfil those dreams. I also don’t want selfish, material-based dreams but dreams concerning His kingdom.

Hopefully, sharing a few of my resolutions for 2022 would also inspire you to do same and present them before the Lord.

See you in 2022!

There are different identities of Jesus. These identities are revealed to us either through scripture or experiences ( which will be backed by scripture). Many people know Jesus as savior or provider but today I would like to talk about Jesus as our lover.

A lover is someone who lavishes love onto their beloved. Jesus does this to you and I. The biggest evidence of this is when He died on the cross so that we may be saved. Remember, Jesus did not die out of obligation but out of love.

I feel like sometimes it’s a hard concept to grasp.

But it is true. And these days, people throw around the word "love", making it seem very cheap.

But Jesus loves you.

In Ephesians 5:22-23, the church is described as the Bride and Jesus as the Bridegroom. At the end, there’ll be a marriage between the church and Christ ( Revelation 19:7). This is to show that ,as a member of the church, you’re not just an ordinary person to Christ, you are His lover.

This means that you must be intimate with Him

You must find joy in Him

Your peace must be in Him

And He must be Your everything.

Remember, Jesus is your lover.
