A chosen vessel

This past weekend was about showing love to your loved ones and making people feel special.

There’s a man who saved my soul from the pits of hell. He died a brutal death because of me and left His comfort zone to enable me to have a relationship with my creator and Father. This man always instructs me to love others. He pushes me to serve others and place them before myself. This great man promises me so many things. He gives me peace that I am unable to fathom and joy that I cannot express in any language I speak. He plasters a smile on my face every moment I think of Him and He is always by my side even when I neglect Him. His love for me is unconditional. His love for me is so reckless that He went above and beyond so that I would live for Him and with Him. He doesn’t only care about me but my loved ones too. He always reminds me to pray for those I care about and pushes me to tell others about His majesty. Not only is He a man, but He is my King and Lord, He is my saviour and my lover. He has captured my heart, mind and soul. He never leaves me nor forsakes me and He always cherishes the moments I spend with Him. He is a member of the trinity and has led me to fall in love with both the Father and the Holy Spirit. He leads me unto the path of righteousness and has given me eternal life.

His name is Jesus! Yeshua! I love Him so much because He loved me so so much first. What’s crazy is that He loves you too. In fact, He is madly in love with you but He requires you to surrender your all to Him. He desires a relationship with you and He needs you to return to Him immediately.

Jesus is the lover of my soul, my source of joy and strength. He is the one I look to when happy or sad and He is my everything. He will become your everything once you give your life to Him and remain faithful to Him, the Father and the Holy Spirit. Say the prayer on the home page and I promise you, your life will never be the same.

the surrendered child

Posture, posture, posture!

-simply our position.

As Christians, we need to realise that our posture before the Lord determines our relationship with Him. As Christians we need to pin point the fact that our posture will determine how much of God’s power and nature will be revealed in our lives.

As Christians, our posture should be one of SURRENDER.

|Surrender, as in laying it all down

|Surrender, as in rendering yourself powerless

|Surrender, as in giving it all to another.

Yes, that surrender.

In our bodies there can only be one leader and as of now there are two options, God/ the trinity ( Galatians 2:20) and the world/the devil/the flesh. However, the thing about God is, He’s not really a fan of partnerships with someone who wants to take full control. He is the Alpha and the Omega so He needs to be in full control, that’s just how He rolls. So, as Christians, our designed or originally formatted posture is a posture of surrender. Think about it, we are all someone’s creation so does it not make sense that we surrender to the creator.

/In this posture of surrender, we allow the manifestation of God’s glory in our lives to take full effect.

/In this posture of surrender, we leave no room for the devil to come do gbas gbos ;we leave no lee ways for that the devil to come and play games in our minds.

/In this posture of surrender, we nurture our relationship with God and allow it to bloom. /Ultimately, in this posture of surrender we worship the Lord ( check out the post “ what about worship?”.

So in this moment, in this position, just surrender, lay every thing down before the Lord, ( be it burden or something you’re proud of). Lay it all down and ask the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of the living God, to rush into your soul like the mighty wind He is ( Acts 2:2).

Can't wait for you to check out the next post😚

Sometimes as Christians we fail to walk in the fullness of what Christ has called us to. Romans 5:17 tells us that, through Jesus, we have received an abundance of grace. The Word has so many promises attached to our inheritance as children of God but why don’t we see these promises being fulfilled?

  • The first issue is our lack of prayer. God is a spirit so when He speaks, He speaks into the spiritual realm and then the words are manifested into the physical realm. When Jesus calms the storms in Mark 4:35-41, He speaks to the waters , correct. But we need to understand it that Jesus was probably speaking to the principalities that caused the storm. *Just to clear up any confusion, we need to be aware of the fact that things don’t just happen but there’s a spiritual reason behind every physical manifestation ( In Revelation 6, as the seven seals are broken, different awful situations break out, hinting at the fact that principalities control situations )*. So God is a spirit that means His Words are spiritual. To tap into these promises, we must transport ourselves into the original realm of the promises, which is the spiritual realm. Prayer is an open door to the spiritual realm. As we pray, we stay connected to the inner man and allow the Holy Spirit to move and have His way. Prayer unlocks a lot and I strongly pray that as we spend more time in that secret place of prayer, promises will start being fulfilled in Jesus’ name.

  • The second issue is that we don’t read the Word of God so we don’t even know the promises attached to our names. Joshua 1:8 says “ Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful”. Look at how God tells us what to do so plainly🤩. In addition to this, Jesus also prompts us in Luke 4:4 "... saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God””. We must live on the word of God and allow it to dictate our steps.

I pray that in this month of February, we’ll all walk in the light God has called us to. I pray that we won’t allow sickness or disease or any sort of infirmity hinder us from progressing in life. Lastly I pray that we walk in the authority Jesus Christ has given us as stated in Luke 10:19.

See you next time!
