Peace
There are days when everything just seems fuzzy. You don’t really have a clear picture in your mind and that just causes unnecessary anxiety. Your heart starts to beat quickly because you just want everything to go smoothly but you just don’t have control. Being stressed is definitely frustrating. We get stressed because the goals set aren’t met within the designated time frame and that eventually disrupts future events planned.
Hmmmm……. that’s really frustrating.
But this isn’t the state of mind God desires for us to have. In John 14:27, Jesus says He will give us peace. In Philippians 4:6-7, Paul reminds us to “not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
We have to understand that we cannot control everything that happens around us but our hope and peace should be in the fact that we serve the One who has control over everything. Sometimes, we forget how big the God we are serving is. God literally created the entire universe, He raises dead men back to life! Reminiscing on how mighty our God is will always instill peace in you because you know that God’s got this.
Jesus did say that each day will carry its own troubles ( Matthew 6:34) but what a privilege it is that God will still provide us the grace and mercies to take on each day ( Lamentations 3:22-23).
Peace is your portion in the name of Jesus! When you walk uprightly, the Lord shall send forth peace to calm every nerve and anxious thought in the name of Jesus!
Have a blessed day!
The overwhelming peace of God 😩❤️
