💧The Christian Drip💧

Guys so it’s my birthday month🥳🥳 and personally I don’t think its a crime to spoil yourself, especially when it’s time to celebrate! Me, I love to spoil myself with clothes, when I can. So as it is my birthday month, I must grace myself with clothes. However, the more I spend time with the Lord, the more He makes me understand that it’s all about Him, even when it comes to pampering myself. So, I asked the Lord how I should pamper myself this birthday season and Him knowing that I spoil myself with “drip” ( in quotes because we all know the drip isn’t actual drip lol🥲), He has revealed to me in His Word some Christian drip. So I just wanted to share these with you so we’ll be slaying together spiritually😉( its not everyday essentials).

  • A crown of beauty ( Isaiah 61:3)

A crown is given to someone who is to be honoured. A crown is given to someone who has some sort of authority and most of the time a crown is given to royalty. Beauty is synonymous to glorious and majestic. The Lord crowns us because we are His children and He is King therefore we are kings ( Revelation 1:6). Jesus, the One we behold and desire to be moulded into, is beautiful ( Isaiah 33:17) so as His people, He crowns us with this beauty, He adorns us with His majesty and allows us to partake in His glory.

  • Bind love and faithfulness around your neck ( Proverbs 3:3-4)

In John 13:35 Jesus shows us clearly that love is what truly marks us Christians or deems as us followers of Christ. Jesus loves us so much; we can’t even wrap our heads around it and when this love becomes your very reality, when the love of God is all you ever think of, it pushes you into a place of absolute surrender and all you want to do is share that very love with all those around you. By binding love on your neck, God is saying let everyone see that you love them. When we wear a necklace, even if it is very slender and has no pendant, people from metres away will notice something shimmering on our neck. This should be the same with our love. Let the love of God in you pour out to all those you encounter. People must have conversations with you and not leave the same. Every word you utter to another human being must bring them life and light because you are a follower of the giver of life.

Apart from love, faithfulness is an essential trait that must be seen. We must be faithful to God and man. As said earlier, we are being transformed into the very image of our Lord Jesus Christ, so as faithfulness is an undeniable trait of the Lord ( 2 Timothy 2:13) , we must also adapt this character. • Glory-garments ( Psalm 21:5 TPT, Psalm 29:2 TPT)

A garment covers the entire body. Our entire self should scream glory, not for ourselves, but His glory. The Lord is the one who dresses us and we put on these glory garments because He has called us to do so. We are well aware of the fact that when we go to glory, we shall put on white robes ( Revelation 7:9) but could it be possible that our transformation begins now on Earth as we wear these glory-garments? (food for thought)

Anyways, all I know is that, wearing this spiritual garment allows our lives to glorify the Lord and allows us to fulfil our calling because all we have been created to do is glorify Him.

The Lord is concerned about every detail of our lives and it’s beautiful. So let’s allow Him to have His say in every aspect of our lives. We want to dress for the Lord, clean for the Lord, do whatever we can to see Him get glory. I sincerely pray that these spiritual clothings/accessories would allow us to properly represent Jesus Christ to the lost and hopefully populate His kingdom. Remember we do everything we do for Him to be praised so even if it means putting on Christian drip, we would do it proudly!

Bye pretty people🤎!
